A pair of Royal Crown Derby fine English bone china paperweights, moulded and hand-decorated in the traditional Imari style using cobalt blue and iron-red enamels with 22ct gold gilding. The first figurine is modelled as a duckling in a seated position with stylized feathering and green accents on the wings. The base of this piece features a circular red stamp with the words ROYAL CROWN DERBY around a crown and monogram, with ENGLISH BONE CHINA and the Roman numerals LXII below, dating the piece to 1999. It also bears a small hand-painted 6 in purple and a gold-coloured metal stopper embossed with ROYAL CROWN DERBY MADE IN ENGLAND. The second figurine is modelled as a robin with a textured iron-red breast and patterned wings. The base bears a circular red stamp for ROYAL CROWN DERBY with Roman numerals LVI, dating the piece to 1993, along with small hand-painted marks in blue and purple and an identical gold-coloured metal stopper.
