This lot comprises two Royal Crown Derby fine bone china animal paperweights, both finished with characteristic gold factory stoppers. The first item is a Mole paperweight, issued as an exclusive for the Royal Crown Derby Collectors Guild in 1994. The figure depicts a mole emerging from a mound, decorated in a traditional Imari palette with cobalt blue, iron-red, and green floral motifs, accented with fine gold-leaf detailing to simulate texture. The underside features a red Royal Crown Derby backstamp, descriptive script, and the 1994 copyright date. Hand-painted decorator marks include a red t, two brown dots, and a green J. The second item is a crouching rabbit paperweight. The white porcelain body is decorated with a repeating pattern of stylized cobalt blue and gold chevron motifs. The ears, eyes, and facial features are highlighted with gilding. The base bears the red Royal Crown Derby backstamp and the Roman numeral date code LII for 1989. Hand-painted decorator marks include a pink w and a dark J.
