A group of Third Reich era German military insignia. The collection consists of multiple shoulder boards constructed from silver-tone braided cord with interwoven green highlights, mounted on dark green wool backings. Each board features a gold-coloured metal cypher consisting of a stylised letter H with a nested V, identifying the items as belonging to the Heeresverwaltung (Army Administration). Also included is a gold-coloured woven breast eagle on a dark green fabric base, depicted in the national style with outstretched wings. No maker marks are visible on the reverse of the items. Information from the seller is that this WW2 item is thought to have belonged to, A M Crozier PTE who was born 29th December 1905. Who served in the local and then National Fire Service (AFS) part time from January 1939 until 17/8/1944.He joined the armed forces at the age of 38 on 15/2/1944 and was posted out in Europe, It believed this was collected when he was in Germany.
