A collection of ten glazed bone china figurines manufactured by Coalport in England. The group includes eight figures from the Fairest Flowers series produced for Compton & Woodhouse between 1991 and 1994, alongside two independent models titled Encore and Fascination. The Fairest Flowers series includes the following models: Rose (1993) in a fuchsia-pink gown with yellow rose borders; Violet (1994) in a white dress with purple bodice and violet-patterned skirt; Poppy (1993) in a cream gown with pink overskirt and red poppies; Pansy (1993) in a cream dress with purple bodice and pansy-patterned skirt; Holly (1991) in a dark green and cream gown with a black hat; Iris (1993) in a blue and white striped gown holding blue irises; Fuchsia (1994) in a tiered pink and purple gown; and May (1993) in a white gown with a black bodice and pink blossoms. Each of these eight bases features the Fairest Flowers title, the CW monogram for Compton & Woodhouse, a specific flower name, and the Coalport crown backstamp. The collection is completed by Encore, a lady in a pale yellow dress with a blue wrap modelled by John Bromley (marked 2/91), and Fascination, a seated lady in a lavender and blue-tinted gown. Both independent models bear their respective title stamps and the Coalport crown backstamp.
