This lot features three boxed die-cast model vehicle sets produced by Matchbox and Corgi. The collection includes a Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Special Edition London Omnibus 1886, comprising a double-decker horse-drawn bus in a white and cream livery with yellow wheels. The bus is decorated with period advertisements for Oakey’s Wellington Knife Polish, Hudson’s Soap, and Nestle’s Milk, and includes two horses and four plastic figures. It is housed in its original pictorial box depicting Trafalgar Square. The second set is a Corgi Transport of the 30’s two-vehicle collection, featuring a Great Eastern Railway motor bus in red and white livery for the Lowestoft and Southwold route, alongside a green The Times delivery van with a headline advertisement for The Peril in India by Sir V. Chirol. The third item is a Corgi Transport of the 30’s Kay & Co Limited Worcester Limited Edition set. This set contains two delivery vans in a deep maroon livery, specifically a Thornycroft Box Van and a Model T Ford Van. This set includes a certificate of authenticity stating it is number 3821 of a production run of 5000. All sets are presented in their original manufacturer packaging.
