A vintage Scalextric GP 41 International Model Motor Racing slot car set produced by Rovex Tri-ang Ltd. The set consists of plastic-bodied cars and track with metal electrical components, housed within the original illustrated cardboard box. The mechanism is a 12V DC electric-powered slot racing system. The group of items includes four slot cars: a red Scaletti-Arrow numbered 6, a green Scaletti-Arrow numbered 5, a black Formula 1 style car numbered 8, and a blue Ligier numbered 25 with elf and Gitanes livery in a clear display case. Control and power components include a Tri-ang RP.17 Power Unit and a pair of hand throttles. A collection of black plastic track sections, including straights and curves, is provided alongside white plastic elevated track supports and cardboard trackside banners with Shell and Scalextric branding. Maker’s marks for Scalextric and Rovex Tri-ang are present on the box and power unit.
