An extensive collection of marine seashell specimens comprising various gastropods and bivalves. The assortment includes species of Cone shells (Conus spp.), Murex (Murex spp.), Strombs (Strombus spp.), Mitre shells, Nerites (Nerita spp.), and bivalves such as Dosinia lupinus and Beguina. The specimens are individually housed in a variety of vintage containers, notably mid-century Israeli paperclip boxes of various colours bearing the brand name GILAD and the Hebrew equivalent גלעד, marked MADE IN ISRAEL. Other containers include glass specimen vials with stoppers, plastic tubes, and small open cardboard trays lined with cotton wool. Many items are accompanied by handwritten scientific and locality labels on paper slips. Recorded collection sites include Eilat on the Red Sea and Shamon Beach. Dated labels indicate active collecting periods during the late 1950s, specifically 1958 to 1959, and April 1970.
