This original watercolour painting on paper depicts a traditional rural landscape featuring a prominent round stone tower,former Billy Mill windmill, beside a cluster of rustic cottages. The composition includes a wooden gate and stone wall in the right foreground overlooking a path, rendered in an atmospheric style with a muted palette of earth tones. The work is signed J.D Liddell cursive script in the lower right corner. The painting is housed in a cream card mount within an ornate gilt wood frame featuring foliate relief mouldings.
