A pair of hand-carved wooden sculptures in the style of African tribal busts, possibly Kenyan or Maasai in influence. Each piece is crafted from a dark-stained hardwood with a polished finish. The figures exhibit highly elongated facial features, including narrow noses and small mouths. The headdresses and necks are decorated with incised horizontal banding, and the ears feature serrated outer edges. Both sculptures are set upon cylindrical bases that repeat the incised linear motif found on the upper portions. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
