A quaich manufactured by The Quaich Co. (Scotland) Ltd. The vessel is designed in the traditional Scottish form with a shallow circular bowl and two flat, cast handles or lugs. The lugs feature Celtic-style knotwork decoration. The interior base of the bowl is embossed with a triskelion motif of three interconnected spirals. The exterior rim is accented with horizontal concentric ribs, and the bowl is supported by a stepped circular foot. The underside bears the stamped maker’s mark reading THE QUAICH CO. (SCOTLAND) LTD.
