An estate collection of marine conchology and echinoderm specimens, primarily collected in the early 1960s. The group includes several sea urchin tests of globose form, ranging in colour from greenish-yellow to sandy brown. Gastropod specimens include a polished orange-brown cowrie labelled as Zonaria pyrum from Haifa, a fusiform shell labelled as Fasciolaria lignaria from Haifa dated Winter 1961, and multiple Murex trunculus specimens collected at Shikmona in July 1961. Elongated conical auger shells are present, including Terebra maculata from the Red Sea and others housed in glass or plastic specimen tubes plugged with cotton wool. A tub of striped globose gastropods and a clear box of colourful pectinid valves in shades of orange and brown are also included, alongside a quantity of white bivalve shells. Many specimens are accompanied by hand-written paper labels detailing species, collection dates, and localities including Haifa, Shikmona, and the Red Sea. The collection is stored in a variety of vintage containers including cardboard matchboxes, specimen tubes, and recycled Israeli Yomix brand yogurt tubs.
