A collection of marine conchological specimens representing a diverse range of gastropod and bivalve species. The group includes a large abalone shell (Haliotis sp.) featuring a highly iridescent nacreous interior. The collection is notable for several cowrie specimens (Cypraeidae), including a tiger cowrie (Cypraea tigris), an Arabian cowrie (Mauritia arabica), and multiple money and ring cowries (Monetaria spp.). Also present is a textile cone (Conus textile) with a distinctive tent-like pattern and several elongated auger or turret shells (Terebridae and Turritellidae) exhibiting various spiral ribbing and colour patterns. A striped bonnet shell (Semicassis sp.) is included, which retains its original brown chitinous operculum within the aperture and features a handwritten inventory marking in blue ink reading No 481. Additional specimens include small olive shells (Olividae), a spotted mitre shell, and ridged bivalve shells.
