This collection of natural history specimens comprises a variety of marine seashells of different species and sizes. The group includes a single valve of a juvenile Fluted Giant Clam (Tridacna squamosa), identified by its prominent leaf-like fluted scales and off-white colour. Also present is a Spider Conch (Lambis lambis) with characteristic marginal digitations and a polished aperture showing orange and brown tones. The collection includes a Commercial Top Shell (Trochus niloticus) displaying crimson-red and cream radiating stripes and a highly iridescent nacreous interior. A heavy Pacific Vase Shell (Vasum turbinellus) features grey-white tones with prominent knobby spikes. Further items include a group of cap-shaped ribbed limpets (Patellidae) with dark grey exteriors and smooth, iridescent interiors. A large quantity of small marine gastropods, primarily Nassarius species, is presented spilling from a vintage-style cardboard cup. Note: Tridacna species are listed under CITES Appendix II. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure compliance with all local and international legislation regarding the trade and transfer of these specimens.
