An Art Deco period pressed glass footed vase of honey-amber coloration, attributed to the English manufacturer Sowerby. The vase features a flared, fluted collar rim with vertical panels. The main body is decorated with dynamic, swirling spiral bands of contrasting textures, consisting of panels filled with dense, moulded curlicue and scrollwork motifs alternating with smooth glass panels. It is adorned with two stylised, multi-lobed cloud or wing handles protruding from the lower sides, reflecting classic Art Deco geometric design. The piece is supported by a circular, stepped pedestal foot. There are no maker’s marks or signatures present on the body or base.
