Marked Gold and Silver Victorian-Revival Cluster Ring with Garnets
Description
Marked gold and silver Victorian-revival dress ring. The piece features two oval-cut red stones, possibly garnets, and five small white cabochon stones, likely seed pearls or opals, grain-set into a boat-shaped gallery with ornate scrollwork. The inner shank is stamped GOL SIL and PAT. NO 2188225. It bears a full set of British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1966, with the maker’s mark EXM LTD for Excalibur Jewellery Ltd 3.47g Gross
