Lladro Heart of Spain Porcelain Figurine, Flamenco Dancer Model 8420, c. 2008
Description
A fine glazed porcelain figurine by the renowned Spanish manufacturer Lladro, titled Heart of Spain (Corazón de España). This piece, model number 8420, depicts a female flamenco dancer in a dynamic pose with her arms raised. The sculpture is notable for its striking colour palette, featuring a sophisticated gradient that flows from a crisp white bodice into a voluminous, deep red ruffled skirt. The figure’s dark hair is meticulously detailed and adorned with a single, hand-crafted red rose. The underside of the base bears the official blue Lladro backstamp, Hand Made in Spain, and the DAISA 2008 copyright mark, alongside the incised model number 8420 and various production marks. The item is accompanied by its original white branded cardboard storage box, featuring the company’s web address and fragile handling instructions.
