Lladró Privilege Magical Unicorn Porcelain Figurine, Model 7697, Circa 2002
Description
A fine porcelain figurine from the prestigious Lladró Privilege collection, titled Magical Unicorn (Unicornio Mágico), model number 7697. This piece, designed by Joan Coderch, depicts a unicorn in a spirited, dynamic pose atop a textured grey rocky outcrop. The figurine is finished in a classic Lladró high-gloss glaze, featuring a pale grey body with soft purple-grey highlights accenting the mane, tail, and hooves. The spiralled horn is rendered in a contrasting blue-grey tone. The base is decorated with three delicate, hand-modelled pink flowers with green leaves, showcasing the intricate floral work for which the Spanish manufactory is renowned. The underside bears the official blue Lladró factory mark, the Privilege collection designation, Hand Made in Spain, and a copyright date of 2002 (DAISA). The model number 7697 is impressed into the porcelain. This item was originally released as part of the Privilege Gold series and has since been retired. Height: Approximately 21.5 cm.
