A watercolor painting with gouache highlights on paper, depicting a coastal scene. The composition features a gaff-rigged fishing boat at anchor in calm blue waters with seagulls in flight. To the left, a sandy beach is dotted with small rowboats, leading toward high, pale-coloured cliffs in the background. The work is executed in a traditional late 19th or early 20th-century style. It is signed R Raymond. in the lower right corner. The painting is presented under glass in a wide metallic-finish mount and a moulded gilt-wood frame.
